Emilio was born in Bogotá, Colombia. From a very young age he began to get involved in the world of art and entertainment. During his childhood and adolescence he participated in more than 20 theatrical productions as an actor, director and screenwriter.
Some of these projects were presented in various Theaters in Bogotá, among which the following stand out: Teatro R101, William Shakespeare Theater and the Charlot Theater in Bogotá. In addition to its passion for theater, the audiovisual sector always caught his attention.
For this reason he directed and wrote several short films, which led him to make the decision to travel to study Film Direction in Madrid, Spain. Currently, he has finished his studies, has a diploma in Film and TV direction at ICM (Madrid Film Institute) and has extensive experience in the film and advertising sector as Assistant Director and Producer.
As a director, his most remarkable works are different music videos: He has worked for great artists including: Colombian Band: “Morat”, Spanish singers such as: Antonio José, Alba Reche and Sofía Ellar. Labels like Universal Music, Warner Music and independent artists have relied on their work to carry out their audiovisual projects. In addition, several of his shorts are in the post-production phase as well as a feature film that he has written and co-directed, which is in the editing phase.
